The president of the Kansas Disc Golf Association plans to approach the Wellington Park Board next month about the possibility of creating a disc golf course at Woods Park. Chris Smith of Winfield, and about 10 other members of the a traveling disc golf league were in Wellington Wednesday to survey the area and to a play a round with their flying discs ... Resident Tom Waters said he was playing disc golf at the park Thursday evening when a youth who was hidden in a wooded area near the 16th hole made off with one of Waters' discs ...
